Top 10 Ways To Help Your Monday Blues Melt Away…

I don’t know about you guys, but the struggle is real with the Monday Blues here in the Minty Jungle. Surely most of you out there can relate to this statement every F@#$% Monday…

Well, the tribe may have a few legit solutions for you to fix that salty start of the week. Although some of them seem a bit crazy (like seriously :/) we decided to try them ourselves, so WTH you guys should too!

1.Coffee in small frequent doses …Duh! Coffee has been the waking up solution for years now, however apparently they are even better ways on how to get the best and most energy from coffee! Ding ding ding! Score! And here is how: Lifehacker.com did an interview with neuroscientist Chris Chatham were he says small and frequent doses will improve your mental and physical performance rather than large doses. So basically one cup per hour would be a good start instead of a whole thermos!

2.The B Vitamins: Evidently we all need to take our daily dose of vitamins, however they are certain vitamins for the B vitamins serve specifically the purpose of boosting your energy, and more specifically B12. This particular B vitamin will turn your carbs into the glucose that your body uses to keep you more awake and alert.

3.Bite a Lemon! Sounds crazy, but the sourness in this citric will give you a slap in the face, instantly waking you up and sending signals to all of your body to shake off the feeling

4.Walk Around: Ok, I know all of us are going to need this one at some point! Studies (and myself) have found that changing your physiology such as your postures or the ways you use your body, will also make your mood change! Apparently they are certain things to improve certain moods according to www.positivityblog.com if you force a smile for about 60 seconds you will actually feel happier, if you wann feel more confident stand up and walk around for a few minutes.

5.Listen and/or watch inspirational stuff! Maybe some of you peeps are newspaper readers which is cool, however you are constantly bombarding your brain with negative things of what is happening in the world, instead of doing that, fuel up your thought and visual content with things that inspire or things you love!…maybe traveling, food, fashion, and/or cute little animals!

6.Sun: This is probably the craziest thing i’ve ever heard, however, it does work! Whenever you are at work, at school or just at home feeling lethargic, open a window or open the door and step outside to absorb some sunlight, like a plant LOL.. literally

7.Music, or more specifically fast tempo music: this might sound a bit cheesy, however upbeat and fast  music will send more signals of alertness to your brain! and besides music is the solution to everything!

8.Smelling salts: WTF? yes yes I know…. this keeps getting weirder and weirder however, bet you didn’t know this: A while ago police officers would make drunk people sniff salts to wake them up! Now a days, if you sniff a little salt its guaranteed to wake you up, however to this with care, too much sniffing salt can damage your sinuses and even cause brain damage! Yowza!

9.Exercise ! yes this is one of the oldest tricks to wake you up. I personally dont love it however if you are upt for it a 20 minute jog in the morning will give you the perfect boost you need in the morning ! … until 4 pm when you will crash.

10.Chocolate yum… yes and this is true, chocolate makes you release endorphins which actually help improve your mood and it also makes you add inches to your waist LOL however, it is an excellent way to improve your temper! For better results try dark chocolates or fusions, my personal favorite, dark chocolate with orange peel!
